¹⁵ And they said to him, “Sit down, please, and read it in our hearing.” So Baruch ^(A)read it in their hearing. ¹⁶ Now it happened that when they heard all the words, they turned in ^(B)dread one to another and said to Baruch, “We will surely ^(C)declare all these words to the king.” ¹⁷ And they asked Baruch, saying, “Declare to us, please, ^(D)how did you write all these words? Was it ^[a]at his dictation?”
